Tony Zale vs Gene Fullmer?

    Fullmer was more compact, Zale was more wild and more straight up. I think I'll take Fullmer.

    Zale is known mostly for a three fight series with Graziano. There were a lot from his era that he did not fight. It's true he was in the service from '43-'45, but there were a lot of top guys from his time that he did not fight.
