Tony Zale vs Marvin Hagler

Hagler excels against fighters that come forward.

 

Zale was no Hamsho. I'm going with Tony.

 

Boxer types tended to be more of an issue for Hagler and Zale doesn't fit that bill. Zale isn't going to KO Marvin and I don't think he can out-box him either. Hagler by TKO.

I've always wondered about this fight. I was a big Hagler fan, growing up, but if Antuofermo and Roldan can give Hagler trouble, I am sure Zale can. He was one rugged *******!

I think Marvin would have been too strong over the long haul. I would look for a late round KO.
