It's a nice gesture that you want to fix it. But in the end it's a highly subjective matter. I didn't intend this thread to discuss the results, otherwise it would be a mess and would miss the issue. You can do this in the individual "vs." threads. If someone could predict nearly every fight he would probably be a filthy rich betting millionaire. Do you have fights where you can't decide?
In no shape or way does Liston beat Joe Louis. His skills let him down in this one- He is brutally assaulted by the bomber and stopped by the 8th.
Okay- Physically when he met an equal his skills let him down majorly. Joe Louis at the end of the road put up better performances against better comp then Liston did at his best in his prime. Sonny would be another victim.
All Sonny needs is clean punch and he takes Louis out. And Louis did not beat better comp than Liston.
You can say the same of Louis, whom has actually got the ability to apply it. Yes, yes he did he even beat better fighters then Sonny.
