OP is also deluded. Virtually all posters here agree Kovalev vs Canelo is a good fight. But it sounds like RayBogan wants to pretend that Kovalev isn't old, well declined from his prime and coming off a bruising fight with Yarde with minimal recovery time. That is simply trying to create an alternate reality.

Kovalev today isn't a patch on the guy that obliterated Cleverly, Caparello and Hopkins. That was the Krusher, and he'd stop today's Kovalev.

I could care less about their reasons, they still picked him to win and did so one-sidedly. You can pretend to be Mr. I Knew It All Along now but it won’t change the fact that Pacquiao was a massive underdog. Trying to discredit that win and overlook the public reaction leading to win is ignorance at its worse.

One of the few times I agree with Scar. If the man is right, he's right.

No doubt Oscar was in decline when he fought Pacman. However, Kovalev's level of decline is probably very similar. You casual ****ers seem to be forgetting something else...De La Hoya was a fantastic little fighter who in my opinion was leagues above Kovalev p4p(and also everyone that Kovalev has faced...including Ward) and was just comin off a very close fight with a guy many people think is the greatest boxer ever to lace em up. Oscar gets little to no credit for his performance vs Floyd. Even now in his 40's, Mayweather wouldn't struggle with a fighter as shot as OP would like us all to believe Oscar was. Pacman just happened to be a monstrous dynamo with a completely different style and hitting near his absolute peak. You ****ers have been butthurt ever since.

Which means I'm smarter than the other knuckleheads that pick oscar to easily win just based on size alone. Atleast give me credit for being the only one that didn't pick oscar would easily destroy Pacquiao because I knew oscar will destroy himself to make weight. <<<I'm the smarter one.

I never said 1 time that canelo will be facing a prime kovalev smh. I'm comparing from biased ppl like you that bashed canelo for moving up 2 weight class to fight a quote decline Kovalev but yet praised Pacquiao moving up two weight class to fight a decline zombie in oscar delahoya. <<<<I don't give a damn if oscar was the favorite heading to that fight and I don't care if oscar was the one that wanted to fight Pacquiao. <<Pacquiao didn't had to sign it in the first place.

^^^You say canelo vs kovalev is a good fight but yet you won't give canelo credit if he beats kovalev because kovalev is an old decline fighter right? Lol

If both fighters look sharp and Canelo comes out on top, how can you not give him credit? Kov isn’t the Krueger he once was but he’s still dangerous and naturally bigger.

If Canelo fights defensively and clearly loses, but has his arm raised at the end of the fight, he deserves criticism. I doubt this one goes the distance either way. I’m cool with either guy winning as long as it’s a good fight. Not sure what Manny as to do with this one.

Simple because many bashed canelo for moving up two weight class to fight a quote decline old kovalev but yet those same ppl praise Pacquiao for moving up two weight class to fight a decline zombie dehydrated Delahoya. <<<Double standard.

Simple, Oscar was already moving back down to 147 to fight either Cotto or Hatton. Hell,

Barrera at the end of his career lol, didn't Barrera whoop Marquez in a prime a few years after the Pacquiao fight...but got jobbed because of that simple foul he did after he KD Marquez?

Anyway Kovalev should have the power to hurt the ginger, its just doubtful he can go the distance without gassing in what should be a highly aggressive fight.

No one was a knucklehead for picking Oscar, it was the right pick. I picked Pacquiao too but it was more of a trolling pick. I didn’t believe Pacquiao stood a chance in hell and openly admitted it even after picking him. You can pretend to be a genius all you want, you prove nothing but lunacy to me.
