    Workout A
    Squat 3x5
    Bench 3x10
    Deadlift 4x6
    Dips 4x6
    Abs

    Workout B
    Front Squat 3x5
    Incline Bench 3x10
    Military press 4x6
    Power Clean 5x3
    Abs

    Week 1
    Tuesday A
    Thursday B
    Saturday A

    Week 2
    Tue B
    Thur B
    Sat A

    etc

I've been doing Mark Rippetoes starting strength routine for the past 5 months and now I'm trying to shift to a more hypertrophy/strength routine then just straight strength lifting, but I'm unsure if this is too much with all of the extra reps and whatnot. Some advice would be appreciated.

Do what Rippetoe's program says, but instead of 5x5, do 4x8-10.
You don't "need" to add a load of stuff.
And size will be in line with the amount of extra good food you're getting.

At 5 months of lifting, food will get you bigger than any extra reps really.

I thought about doing that, but I really want to have incline bench and front squats in my routine, mostly because those are lifts they measure for football at my school and I am terrible at them.

Do front squats or back squats.
    do incline or flat bench.

One week do one, one week the other.
    Rotate.

    do:

    deadlifts
    front squats OR
    power cleans
    CORE

    incline bench
    military press
    dips
    CORE

Ok, I see what you're saying. Keep the original routine, but alternate front squats and incline bench.
