"At the ripe old age of 35...blah blah" I wish I had a tenner for everytime I heard that BS last night. Calzage is patently NOT over the hill, so why state his age over and over. He has the experience of 21 world title defences and has plenty left in the tank. Are his punches lacking the sharpness of old? No. I think he is at his peak as a boxer. Kessler couldnt match his workrate, so that says it all. Bernard Hopkins, his alleged next opponent, is 42...FFS:huh . I hope Joe fights on at LH for a good few years. :happy
When you enter the 30s you are always a fight away from it being over, when you past 35 this fear doubles. When you are 36 and can still let off 100 punches late in the fight and be sharper than a 28 year old... ...well that just has to be wrong.
