Don't know how to reply to multiple posters, but fairplay to McVey and Bukkake. So Basilio was a bad shout. Actually, could either of you guys enlighten me to something related... I didn't include him... But I remember reading something... Was Jeffries also a converted?

Cotto is another example of a converted southpaw.

Pac has to be number one. Whitaker and Hagler do not have that kind of resume.

Mark Johnson and Vic Darchinyan were pretty damn good at one point.

Sor Rungvisai is really good right now. Terrence Crawford too, if he counts.

I think Calzaghe should rate higher. How many southpaws actually had decent right hands?

Tyronne Everette may have made this list had he not died so young, I was thinking of Lou Brouillard, former middle champ who go jobbed twice against Marcel Thil in France, but he lost too many goes against good fighters. Top gun goes to Sweet Pea here with Hagler riding shotgun.

This is probably the most southpaw rich time in boxing history: Pac, Rigo, Usyk, Sor, Crawford, Prograis, Ortiz, BJS and Lomachenko are all relevent.

He fought right-handed. I wouldn’t say he fought ‘orthodox’ in the strictest sense of the word.
