Its a great accomplishment. No doubt. Top 20. Maybe. Top 10? Sorry look at the records and achievements of these guys.

They beat other greats. They beat guys ranked in the top 10 and 20. Tunney is ranked in the top 10. Greb beat him.

Its just a different class, different era, different everything.

If Pacquiao beats a fellow great like Mayweather, he'll have an argument. You dont get in for beating Margarito. Come on now.

not top 10 yet, but definite top 20 for me. he needs to beat mayweather or martinez/williams winner at 154 to get into top 10.

nah... not yet... he is within reach though.. around 20th place... This win didn't really push him higher imo.... He needs more good wins at 140 or above... Cotto was a great win, but Hatton, Oscar, Clottey and this win didn't meant all that much too me.. They probably look better in about 30 years.. cause of the names...He needs to fight the winner of Bradley Alexander and Khan Maidana, Berto... these kind of fights would take him higher on my list.... If he beats Mayweather he goes straight towards the top 10 ....

Let's say he beats Khan and Bradley Convincingly and beats Mayweather after that... He might even lose to mayweather and eventually win 2-1 in a trilogy.. That would probably even look better... If he does that he definitely in my top 10... If he goes on and beat Williams for the undisputed MW championship, he could go all the way to the top 5, top 3 even.... SRR and Ali are unreachable for me..

A dominating win over FMJ can arguably put Pac in the top 10...he ain't there quite yet. Top 25-20, I say...

everytime he fights people want to jump him up 10 spots on the ATG list. Manny is great and I love him as a fighter, but one thing I think which is obvious is that Roach and Manny's people are avoiding guys who have right hands. He couldn't jump in and out the way he does if he were fighting a guy with a right hand. He would have been hit more. And fact is no way should he have won a title last night. To say how great it is that he is an 8 time champion is ridiculous since they made that win up for him. It was for a vacant title against Margarito who was not a champ at 154.

I just think that besides Mayweather who is sure to fight next in probably his last fight there isnt anybody else better than the people he is facing. Its the way he is destroying these fighters that grabs my envy. when Pac retires is when you will look back and remember just how good he was and how much he will be missed.

Beat Martinez or Paul Williams. Or Mayweather for that matter.

Destroying a walking punching bag in Margarito doesnt impress me. I expected it to be a tough fight physically for Pacquiao, but had no delusions on how it would end. Margarito bloody or KO'd.

I am not a boxing historian and I wont pretend I am, I'll just say there's been a lot of great fighters since the beginning of boxing. Pacquiao is one of them, how you can rank them is beyond me.

Pacquiao struggles to make 147 lol i mean he was 144lbs last night. Williams is like 6ft 1" and martinez is just way too big. skills wise Pacquiao is on another planet to martinez and williams. Floyd Mayweather i completely agree with and for me he is the only guy below 147 who has the skills to properly test Pacquiao and im sure we will soon enough see the outcome.

I am not sure. Look, guys overrate fighters when they are fighting, but if he is really top 10 ATG he will beat Mayweather. If he does not beat Mayweather, he will not be top 10. He might be top 20 or top 25.

yea I am racist just because I bring up the fact that all of the avid Floyd supporters and Pac haters on here all share one thing in common --
    Race.

don't pull the race card... you really think its just a coincidence that you're all black? you don't think that makes you bias? Less- objective? And please stop avoiding this , and just calling it racist.
