I am a Harada fan, but having him #1 on this list is bonkers. I'd have Harada #1 at flyweight, but not at bantamweight.
1) Eder Jofre 2) Carlos Zarate 3) Manuel Ortiz 4) Terry McGovern 5) Al Brown 6) Ruben Olivares 7) Johnny Coulon 8) Fighting Harada 9) Benny Lynch 10) Sixto Escobar Not had time to go over this with a fine toothcomb, but if I did I think this would be fairly close to what I'd end up with. If this thread is still alive once I've had a proper think I might post an updated list.
He was excellent but retired so young much like Becerra (who idolized Macias). I really wish he’d have continued his comeback at least enough to be in position to challenge for the title again but again retired and still very young. He was a popular movie star in Mexico so probably didn’t need boxing as much as others.
I'll have a think. I don't think it'll have any different names from the ones in your top 20. Just a question of ordering them and who to exclude.
Jofre Olivares McGovern M Ortiz Harada Herman Al Brown Zarate Lynch Dixon ... with Rose just missing out at 11.
