Beatings happen every day, but when it happens between the biggest names in the sport and applied by the biggest underdogs entering the ring it does make history. These are my pick for the top 10 beatings of 2008. Feel free to add up or submit your picks.

    1. Pacman's beating on ODH
    2. Bhop master class on Kelly Pavlik.
    3. Joe Calzaghe spree on Roy Jones JR
    4. Arthur Abraham on Edison Miranda II.
    5. Margo on Cintron II
    6. Paul Williams on Quintana II
    7.

I'm still reviewing my last four.:good

i wouldn't call hatton/pbf a beating, it was competitive until the last few rounds. he too some punches in the last few rounds but it wasn't a beating, and it was in 2007. if you want to have hattons name in that list the fight with paulie was a lot less competitive.

Really? Totally lost track of time there, anyway I was considering a beating since I never expected PBF to win on a KO, well but since they are some discrepancies I'm gonna write that one off. What about Taylor on Lacy?

    Absolutely.

Mijares is my favourite active fighter currently, but there are no excuses. Darchinyan was just simply brillant, bringing a style that Mijares couldn't time and counter. Vic's power meant that Mijares wouldn't lose a lopsided decision.

Manny's destruction of Diaz was class, with Diaz looking like something straight out of Mortal Combat,
I can Just imagine Freddie Roach in the corner shouting "FINISH HIM".

Yet to some he is still more of a threat to Floyd

Pacman/Diaz, Abraham/Miranda II and Margarito/Cintron were the top beatdowns.
