These are merely three names over a three year period. And considering he wasn't a champion,Frazier was in no position to be deciding who was deserving enough to fight him.Besides Norton,Lyle and Frazier was about the logical a matchup as could be found in the division at the time. And Lyle certainly wasn't the one stopping it from happening. For an era that spawned so many noted punchers, that were able to secure fights with big names like Jerry Quarry and Muhammad Ali,Frazier only managed to get around to fighting one - which was a fight he never wanted and was forced into taking. Unless you're capable of time travel and being able to convince Frazier against the idea of fighting so many unranked opponents, bums and wash-outs,and of taking more risks in his career,I don't think I'll ever be able to recognize this supposed "greatness" that Frazier possessed.Very good fight, sure. But great? Absolutely not.
Frazier against ali is number 1 for me. Douglas against tyson is number 2. Louis-max 2 is number 3. Foreman v frazier is number 4. Jeanette v mcvey is number 5.
