Here is a list of my top 10 disappointing fighters of the past decade.

make sure to make ur own list :deal

10- ricardo mayorga: we were impresed by the way he manhandled forrest twice but ended up as a steping stone to elite fighters after a bad performance

9- zab judah- great talent, left handed with blinding speed and power but not diciplined, questionable chin and somewhat weak minded

8- ricky hatton- 40+ undeafeated record with an ugly win over tsyu. but troubled in USA debut against the then unknown, luis collazo

7- victor ortiz- great young talent but he quited against maidana like it was not a big deal as he showed in the post fight interview. (but smart move)

6- samuel peter- nightmerish power heavyweight outclased by klitschko

5- jermaine taylor- great career but for a fighter that beat hopkins twice, he didnt lived up the hype

4- billy dibb- the once undeafeated dibb ended up being a cheap naseem hamed imitator and a clown with no class

3-joe messi- undeafeated hw with 36 wins, 29 kos. but his career was shortened by an hematoma in the head that was caused by an illegal blow.

2- david reid- olympic gold medallist in 1996, he was extremely talented but bad management led up to fighting tito trinidad in only his fight number 12, he never recovered.

1- francisco bojado- once dubbed as the next oscar de la hoya. he went to defeat some bumms but got beat by jesse james leija

Bojado takes the cake, he was supposed to the be the next great superstar.

Instead he's just a crazy fat dude on a death wish.

People were hyping up Bojado to be something special after what...8-9 fights? ...Why would anyone do that? ...It was way way too soon. Too much to carry on an 18 year olds shoulders if you ask me.

One of my big disappointments is that Floyd vs Cotto didn't happen after Cotto beat Mosley and Floyd beat Hatton. That would've been an amazing fight and the timing was perfect.

Floyd would have dominated him, and that's always been my feeling.

I don't think Hatton is a disappointment. He's only lost to genuinely great fighters, each to their own though

I think Floyd dominates Cotto on all fronts, but I agree that would have been a great fight at that time. I wanted to see it for sure.

without a doubt the heavyweights . . . it is so sad, it is like the whole division fell off a cliff! Where has all the talent gone?! the Kbros are talented and would have been solid contenders in any other era but the rest is garbage! hopefully the cruisers haye and admeck can bring it back!

yes, it may be true. i was a fan since his fight with freddie pendleton. my disappointment with him is that he looked so sharp in showtime but when he started fighting in hbo, it wasnt that impresive anymore.

My friends ----Andrew Golota unfortunately. His got everything but hasn't got the most important- powerful psyche:(:( His mind led him down not once

Whe i saw Maskaev Liechovitch Sultan as a champs i feel really dissapointed that Golota had no belt

He was really very good fighter but his psyche screwed his career

Actually the only redeeming part of the decade in HW was Lennox Lewis finishing out a great career and Roy Jones' novelty belt. Other than that the division has been pretty useless.

You're right though, the Klitschkos would be contenders in most eras.
