Not being a troll or anything but Tony Bellew? I'd put Mathew Hatton above him and that's how much I rate Bellew.
I think it's more interesting if you can only include fights that the boxers have been involved in this century. So Lennox's record, for example, starts from the Grant fight.
That's what I tried to do with my list. I think to be honest Lewis, Calzaghe, Nelson etc. who were already champions by 2000 still did more than enough afterwards to merit being in there
Lewis Hatton Froch Haye Calzaghe Khan Burns Can't think of anyone else that's worth mentioning.... I thought Kevin Mitchell had great potential until Katsidis gave him a beat down.Big Enzo Macs career was put in a choke hold by the Hayemaker.Kell Brook still has not won a world title or proved he is world class even.Macklin,Barker and Murray still yet to prove themselves.... Hmmmm this was a tough one,so many potentially good fighters hopefully 2013 is a better year for the British.
1.Lennox Lewis 2.Joe Calzaghe 3.Naseem Hamed 4.Carl Froch 5.David Haye 6.Nigel Benn 7.Chris Eubank 8.Amir Kahn 9.Ricky Hatton 10.Ola Afolabi
Lewis Calzaghe Froch Hatton Haye Khan Scott Harrison Burns Witter Really struggling to think of a tenth...
Shane mcphilben Sid razak That light heavyweight from scunthorpe(jody meikle) tommy tolan That bloke from hull who just charges with hands down Hastings rasani robin deakin kristian laight Struggling now.....how about paul mcclosky and pro tony jeffries
I wrote 10 out but it was from 1900 and onwards... Seen the thread title, and i now can't be bother thinking of another 10.
Very solid list. I moved Williams down to 11 when I remembered Witter after my original list and had Nelson in there but apart from that, that's the exact order I'd put them in. The only 2 debatable ones for me are Calzaghe & Lewis if we're going solely post-2000 which is a close one and possibly Woods and Khan. But I think you've got it right in having Lewis and Khan ahead.
