By doing this u r wrong about both of them in 2 things :
1) underrate their chins
2) overrate their defense
Both men did get hit , Floyd got hit by an old & shot Shane Mosley , just shows u how overrated his defense is but remained upright .
Hopkins did got hit in his career , sometimes went down , like vs Segundo Mercado , but was never stopped .
However , in both cases d fact that they weren't stopped can b attributed 2 2 things :
1) both men being cherrypickers / fighting weak or weakened opposition / both
2) both men fouling / cheating whenever in trouble despite of it .
Same 4 Ali , Holyfield , Holmes & many others .

 

And would have been stopped by Henry Cooper if it wasn't for d extra time he got 4 replacing his torn / torn & loaded glove and then also receiving smelling salts (illegal even then) during that illegal extra time .
