Toney - Peter and Rahman, while limited in their ways, both hit like a mule kicking down hill; the fact a former 160lber can stand in the pocket with guys like that is to me mind boggling. Anyone who has even sparred a few rounds knows how draining it is taking shots from someone even 10lbs naturally bigger, Toney is the Tiger Woods of chins. Ollie McCall laughs at you feeble mortals. Ali, for a slightly leftfield reason: most granite chinned fighters are squat no-neck types; Ali was a naturally long, lean fighter- a solid chin on his body type, especially ay heaveyweight, is a rarity.
Calzaghe - hahahahahahahahahahaha thats a joke! As for Greb - how can anyone put him at number 1 - there is such limited footage of the guy. The way this guy is overated on this site is amazing.
2,591 rounds, 300 fights, against most of the best fighters of his era with only 2 stoppage losses, one in his 7th fight, and one due to a broken arm.
People on here are continually crucified for having certain fighters in their top 10 'pound for pound' and others missing within their top 10. eg; Ali in their top 5 and Charles not in their top 10. McCullough's chin resume is as good as any fighter in history considering he was a natural bantamweight. If you don't have McCullough in your top 10 chins of all-time then something is far wrong. His fighting style further enhances the arguement.
I know what's coming next: "He was up at three vs Cooper". So was Amir Khan last week, totally ****ed, not knowing what day it was. Only the bell couldn't save him.
He wasn't hit flush on the chin by Liston, so you agree with that. Can't recall this monster dig, I'll rewatch it. True. Not top 10 pfp though. Case open.
Obviously i'm not comparing Clay with Khan, we know Ali had a great chin but he was well gone vs Cooper and anyone who denies this is a joke.
