    why don't you do your research on burley people were calling him the best. he was actually supposed to fight robby but robby either ducked him or denied the fight(every source has a different story) even though i dont think robby would duck anyone but he never fought anyone as technical as burley.

    it's my goddamn opinion, there's no facts behind anything anyone says..
    the f*ck is wrong with you?
    floyd might not be a top 10 atg when you compare his record to other greats, but skillwise there's no reason why he shouldn't be in the top 10. you're one of those guys who think past fighters are better just because. you probably think gene tunney would have beaten mike tyson :patsch:roll:

    i am a Burley fan, and my point was is that he never broke through to main stream cause he lost at the wrong times. There were plenty of guys around his time better, and all I am asking is for you to cite the sources that were regarding Burley as the best. Not bashing him, i would just like to know what sources you were referring to when you said many regarded him as the best. And the little story goes that Burley was suggested a Ray said "I'm to pretty to fight Charley Burley." And I myself will not comment on that cause I never looked into the credibility of the statement.
