    This is Harry Greb profile.
Despite dying at age 32, and despite a relatively brief professional career, fought more recorded bouts than all but two men in boxing history, majority of which were rendered no-decisions. … Won world middleweight title in 1923 despite becoming largely blind in left eye following bout with Kid Norfolk two years earlier. … Defended title six times over next three years before losing it to Tiger Flowers. … In May 1922, became only boxer to defeat future heavyweight champion Gene Tunney.

    Charles is a lock.

ATG's stretching form MW to HW. People cum in their pants for Roy Jones in this respect and his resume is about one tenth as impressive.

But seriously man, don't get down. Nobody is having a go at you, it's just a bit of a half-assed list. The cool thing is you can learn about these fighters if you want to and your next list will be way better.

How well versed are you on Charles? If you believe he's outside of the top 10 or god forbid top 15 I'd say not very. He was more or less a larger version of Ray Robinson.

    Yeah.

What I love about TBooze is he has a list for everything. If you opened a thread asking for the top ten Navajo Indian HW's of all time, he'd produce one.

This is what you base your ranking of him on?

Harry Greb is an great fighter and I wouldn't have a problem if he's in anybody's top 10 all time great fighters but in a way I feel he's kinda of like a Salvador Sanchez in that if he lived he would of been at minimum top 5 greatest ever.

Sugar Ray Leonard doesn't get much love here! Surely he must be 5-10?

He was already retired when he died. Again. Armstrong's prime was even shorter than his, yet you rate him just behind Robinson. His resume exceeds both of theirs.

There is no comparison to be made between he and Sanchez, who died at the age of 23 during his peak. Greb died at the age of 32 when half-blind and on the downslide, and again, when he had already called it quits.

No not really. I watched some old videos on him and tried to see the great fighters that he fought. That's just a little info pack I found about him.

Like I said before I have no problem with Harry Greb in anybody's top 10 of all time. I was so close of putting him in mine pound for pound list and I still might change it and put him.

Some on youtube some of old fights he had against Tunney. To be honest I read more about him because it been really difficult to find more video on him.
