I thought you were campaigning hard for Armstrong - it all makes sense now!

He got robbed didn't he, saw that fight and thought Rocky might have won 8 rounds. 7 -5 at the least

I've worked quite hard on my lists for the original weight classes. But when I make lists for the newer ones, it's a kind of a rush job. A conflation between the upper and lower limits.
It's not an exact science. But I'd summarize it thus:
Who kicks the most ass if they weigh in at that weight (in this case 130)? I believe some of the top feathers (Pep, Salvador Sanchez, etc) beat most of the top super feathers.
It's just the way i like to draw up lists :)
My style is not for everyone, I know.

All good. I just thought his inclusion may have been a mistake as he barely ever fought over 126 and really had no notable wins above Feather.

Armstrong and Sanchez, yes, they are highly debatable because they never competed in the division but Saddler and Kid Chocolate did and were both super feather/junior lightweight champs so not sure why they shouldn't be ranked.

Armstrong competed at 130lbs and defeated former Jr. Lightweight champs Benny Bass and Frankie Klick at/near the weight. If you rate Ezzard Charles at LH (and most do), you can rate Armstrong here.

Chocolate and Saddler were both jr. lightweight champions when it was a recognized division.

I guess everyone has their own criteria. But I can't see a reason not to rank Saddler or Kid Chocolate as super featherweights. Not that either of them would rank that high in my own list of super featherweights.
