hearns at lhw? are you kidding me? even roy jones did hit harder than hearns at lhw, and michael moorer was an absolute killer at lhw 100% kos, i know that it was not vs the best oposition but you could argue that he did hit a little harder than foster. debatable of course, but moorer was a monster puncher at lhw, he was drained, he had cruiser frame..

If based on punching power alone, then probably not as streight forward as might appear, many a good Banger did not break through...

A selection that might not spring immediately to mind

Donnie LaLonde (tends to be remembered for the Leonard fight )
Miguel Angel Cuello (the forgotton 3rd Bull - After Galindez and Ahumada )
Charlie Devil Green ( What a mixed up individual )
Steve Aczel ( Aussie Banger )
Theunis Kok (South African Banger )
Julian Letterlough ( US Banger )

I am sure more will spring to mind

joe Lasisi was a hard hitting light heavy. So was Mario Melo. But their opposition can't justify a high rating

Spinks was second only to Bob Foster as a puncher.

Bob Foster was in a class by himself...no lightheavy hit as hard as he did.

MY top five , no surprise here, are

    Foster
    Mustafa Muhammad
    Saad Muhammad
    Spinks
    Moorer

I am truly not sure on the order as all were monster hitters .. don't under estimate Moorer .. he was brutal at 175
