Top 10 Hardest Punchers in the Game Currently

Pavlik hasn't knocked anybody even B level out with one punch. Probably not even 2. I'd be interested to look back through his KO's against moderate opposition, even journeymen to see what sort of stoppages they were. But frankly I can't be bothered.

 

No ass, I'm actually just busy right now And what can I argue? We have both seen all the fights, I don't think Pac has that much one punch power. MAB...corner threw in the fight after like 1,000 clean punches landed. Morales.....was still very aware of everything, not dazed but quit out of frustration in the 2nd loss and exhaustion in the 1st loss. JMM....down 4 times but never seriously hurt :deal He hits you quick and clean and you go down but it isn't the thudding kind of power that puts you in an alternate sense of reality.

Pavlik though....Jermain Taylor was on a another planet after Pavlik beat his head in and it was that one right hand that sent him there. :hi:

And just for comparison purposes. In the first fight Jermain Taylor got hit with Bernards money punch, overhand right CLEAN and was very dazed by it. But when he got hit by Pavliks right hand, he wasn't just dazed....he was as good as done, and then Pavlik just put the icing on the cake.

 

he ko'ed zertuche with one punch i think. to be fair, he scrambled taylors bearings with a straight before forcing the stoppage. though he does'nt belong in the list's top 5. i still think miranda can bang harder punch for punch.

To get in that top 3 you might actually want to knock guys out with one punch, as others mentioned have.

Go ahead and point me to the fights where Pavlik knocks a good fighter out with one punch. Or shall I just save your time and remind you of the dozens of unanswered punches he hit Taylor/Miranda with? Even Lockett, how many ****ing punches did that guy take before chickening out? If you throw 80 punches a round not many have one punch power on them. Wake up and learn boxing. You've been here for 17,000 posts and you still don't know what the **** one punch power is.

i also think montiel is pretty heavy handed. you can see the way he throws hooks, and can tell there's a lot of force at the end of those punches. he gets solidly planted and seems to generate a lot of torque when he throws hooks.

 

@Latif: Not completely true. While Wlad may have the better one punch power, Vitali has serious one punch power too.

AA has to be the top man in terms of punching power up to cruiserweight.

 

Pound-for-pound, David Haye is the most concussive 1-punch hitter.

Ok I already posted the comparison between right hand - Pavlik vs Hops against Taylor. Now Miranda. Miranda had his jaw broken and was still taking clean shots from Abraham and finished the fight. But against Pavlik.....those shots were just too heavy and he was destroyed.

 

Hasim Rahman has a 1-Punch KO of Lennox Lewis.....I don't remember Lennox ever having a 1-Punch KO of any elite Heavy or even top heavy. Is Rahman a bigger hitter then Lennox TFFP???? (Besides Rahman )
