One punch knockouts are a matter of timing and accuracy in most cases.....not necessarily power. Floyd has a 1-Punch KO of Hatton...is he one of the hardest hitters?

That was not 1 punch KO PBF had been whippin Hattons ass, and began to T off in 7th rd, he simply broke him down and finished him off with the check hook at the end.

Ok whatever :good I'm done with this argument. Anyone that says Pavlik doesn't have power is either ******ed or has an alternate agenda. And I can't think of 3 guys who hit harder than him P4P. :deal

Now Pavlik has Power, maybe not 1 punch power like Foreman but he can bang, the way he KO'd Taylor in a fight he was losing is all the proof any one needs.

    20 KOs in 21 fights.

Knockouts of linear cruiserweight champion Jean-Marc Mormeck in Paris, Enzo Maccarinelli, Giacobbe Fragomeni, Alexander Gurov, a 1-round KO at heavyweight v Tomasz Bonin.

His competition hasn't been great yet as he is still young and hasn't had a long world championship career, but the question is not about resume, it is about power. Whenever he has gone in against anyone, he has hurt them.

His power is unquestionable, and he will prove this at heavyweight and versus better fighters as his career progresses. It would be folly to deny his power because he hasn't fought big names yet, the power is in evidence. You can deny a man's quality if he hasn't fought great fighters, but this does not go for power to the same extent. Butterbean could throw BOMBS, are we to deny that because he never fought at the top level?

A few fights of Lennox would have been one punch but he followed everything up so quickly with combos (Rahman II, Botha, Golota, Ruddock, etc...)

Not the point. He was basing "Power" on 1-Punch KOs....and that just isn't a good way to judge it.

Yeah I agree true one punch KOs are extremely rare so you can't really determine overall power by that. It all depends to much on luck, timing, the quality of the other guy's chin, etc.

I never thought that Vitali had great power. Especially stronger than Wlad, he tires people out and gets TKO's but he doesn't have great one punch power.

While utterly humiliated, Sam Peter can still bang. Abraham gets guys in trouble with a single punch. Wlad has more pop then Vitaly, but Vitaly always delivers. Virchis can be outboxed, but his power is absolutely topnotch. Haye had serious power at CW but still has to prove it with the big boys.

Haye, Wlad, JuanMa, Darchinyan, Pacman and Abraham are the top punchers p4p...

...and as long as Pavlik is rated below Abraham on such lists, I am fine with it :yep
