Actually, Carl Thompson hits like a mule.

    :good

And I don't think Wlad's an accumulation puncher. Notice I said 3/5 and then went on to describe how Pac, Pavlik and Vitali both won their last fights through the number of flush punches they landed. Read before making stupid replies.

I have to agree, I have seen Pavliks last 4 fights and against top class opposition I too think he lacks one punch KO Power. It did seem to me in the Pavlik v Taylor rematch, that Taylor was actually landing the harder shots.

    He already should be

Also, I know they're not the best boxers in the world, but every single list should have Juan Urango, Edwin Valero and Roman Gonzalez on it.

I also wouldn't have Wlad or Vitali so high. It's POUND for POUND, and big heavyweights should be debited accordingly.

Purely on one-punch power, P4P basis:

    1) Juan Manuel Lopez
    2) Juan Urango
    3) Vic Darchinyan
    4) Arthur Abraham
    5) Alejandro Berrio
    6) Vitali Klitschko
    7) Roman Gonzalez (Absolutely a beast at 105, probably could be higher except he hasn't fought the highest level of competition yet)
    8) David Haye (would have been #2 if he was still at 200)
    9) Edwin Valero
    10) Wladimir Klitschko

Just missing: Darnell Wilson, Ricardo Torres, Carl Froch, Edison Miranda (although he doesn't often use it well in fights, when he sits on his punches properly they're devistating), Gerry Penalosa, Daniel Ponce de Leon

    Not on the list:

Kermit Cintron (Once he stepped up the level of competition, he's proven that he's not nearly as powerful as his KO record indicates)
Antonio Margarito (Great accumulative power, but it's because he can keep throwing hard punches, not because his individual punches are that strong)
Paul Williams (Also a volume puncher mostly, KO record is shiny based on a lot of volume TKOs)
Kelly Pavlik (volume puncher, but he maintains the strength throughout the fight)
Manny Pacquiao (at 126, sure, but at 135 he's not even in the discussion)
