Abe Simon is literally a tree, you arn't making a case for Joe Louis H2H. All time yes Joe Louis is right up there almost a pioneer ahead of his time. Ali & Liston are the oldest gen who you could make a case for.

Replace the overrated Vitali (who beat nobody) with Tyson Fury.

I would say Ali, Holmes and Usyk should be able to outbox anyone. Any one of them could beat the other on a given day. Tyson has the best style to beat them (but probably loses to Ali based on his insane durabilty)
And Lewis pretty much beats any puncher /boxer-puncher, Foreman, Tyson, Wlad, Bowe etc., (but gets outboxed by the big 3)
And Foreman beats anyone that will slug with him.. Tyson, Frazier, Bowe, Holyfield, etc.

So mathematically.. that *should make Ali #1, Holmes, Usyk and Lewis sharing #2-4, maybe Tyson at #5, Foreman #6..? and then I dont know :)

These sort of deals say more about posters and critical thinking skills than anything else.

Lennox Lewis, the man iced twice by jamooks not worth mention in these lists, tops quiet a few.

Rocky Marciano, the man who never lost, is not even mentioned.

We already know the score, who cares about results when you can make the logical fallacy that when provided the career!

Certainly the money driven prima-dona who got iced twice by a pair of jamooks not worthy of mention in lists like these would have never seen any icing by lesser opposition in any other era. Certainly not Marciano's.

You have two HW champions with the results worth talking about their h2h potentials. Everyone else found a way to lose and the idea they slipped because of their time is laughably stupid. Lennox Lewis never once came too fat and lazy to perform? Oh but in a different era that you claim is an easier era there's no chance he comes too fat and lazy huh? Wow zinger.

It's one thing to say but Ali aged, okay, sure. Lennox didn't. Lennox proved beyond all doubt he does not deserve the benefit of yours, but here we are with one of boxing biggest choke artists topping h2h lists. Smart fans. Real educated here.

Super shocking the same exact posters will tell you Harry Greb is p4p goat without any sense of irony or hypocrisy. It is Marciano who benefited the most from time. We have Jack Dempsey, champion of US+UK Whites exclusively, he can get a mention because you know there's no good reason to believe he is stuck in time but the post ww2 champion who took on all challengers was only able to do that because Louis got old doe.

    1. Ali
    2. Holmes
    3. Usyk
    4. Foreman
    5. Bowe
    6. Holyfield
    7. Tyson
    8. Lewis
    9. Vitali
    10. Frazier

Lewis is being very overrated here. He's the only one on the list who got blasted out by mid level guys like McCall and Rahman, he got a gift decision against Mercer (and arguably in the Holyfield rematch too). His one signature win was against prime Vitali which is a very good win but he hardly looked amazing that night.
