He is often considering like top 5 P4P he usually doesn't show up too high relative speaking on a heavyweight list.

I have Langford #3 all time p4p, which factors in every fight he contested in all divisions and factors his relatively small size into his HW contests.

He's my #17 all time at HW, based only on fights contested at HW, completely disregarding his size.

He went something like 167-36-34 in fights contested at HW. I consider only around 8 of those losses to be in or around his prime years - Jack Johnson aged 20 when Sam was only 156lbs, Sam McVea x 2 (including 1 aged 32) which he avenged, Gunboat Smith avenged, Joe Jeanette x 2, Jeff Clark (I only consider 1 of his losses, aged 31, close to his prime years), Harry Wills (I only consider the first of Sam's 13 defeats to Harry close to his prime, when Sam was 32).

Langford's final ledger vs Wills was (2-13-2), Jeanette (6-3-5), McVea (7-2-5) and Clark (5-2-3). Langford also beat Battling Jim Johnson (11-0-1), Sandy Ferguson (1-0-1), Kid Norfolk, Porky Dan Flynn x 2, an inexperienced George Godfrey (2-0-1), Fireman Jim Flynn x 3 & Tiger Flowers, in fights contested at HW.

It's an exceptionally deep win resume, hence he comfortably makes my top 20 HWs of all time. His prime run was far better than his paper record, but wasn't dominant enough for me to seriously consider him for the top 10.

Add that to wins in other divisions, beginning as a teenager over a prime ATG Joe Gans at just above the LW limit, doing notable work at WW, MW & LHW, and factoring in how much smaller he was than most of his best HW opponents, he's a lock for the top 4 p4p fighters of all time, imo.

Yeah he was a monster. He was heavily avoided and the colour line for black fighters as well so he could have achieved a lot more than what he did.

Do you have any heavyweights in your P4P top 10? I think heavyweights tend to be a bit underrated in P4P lists.

Career HWs, yes, Louis at #9 and Ali #10. No other career HWs in, or even near, my p4p top 30 of all time.

My #2 (Greb), #3 (Langford), #5 (Charles) and #6 (Fitzsimmons) all fought, and had multiple notable wins, at HW.

Is your P4P stretching to top 100 or do you go further?

No, just a draft top 50 that is a WIP.

I have top 20's in the original 8 weight divisions and am working on top 10's in the 9 inbetweener divisons.
