No I tell the truth about Lewis. He's ridiculously overrated by a lot of posters - and undoubtedly you are among them.

A bunch of meaningless fights that occurred after Holyfield was basically done have little to do with evaluating his greatness. Nobody gives a **** that Trevor Berbick stopped Ali, or Rocky Marciano knocked out the shell of Joe Louis. Nor should they. Same with the losses Holyfield's had in the last decade.

Tunney only lost once and beat Dempsey twice,so I'd have Tunney ahead of him.The long count was only 4 seconds and Tunney actually knocked Jack down in the very next round. It's just like putting Willie Pep ahead of Sandy Saddler at featherweight when Sandy was 3-1 with 2 ko's against Willie.Jack Johnson should be on everyone's list.Joe Frazier was ko'd twice by arguable ATG Foreman.Foreman was flawed, but the 1st time he retired,he had only 2 losses-to Ali and Jimmy Young when George's mind was going.Lennox Lewis was ko'd by McCall and Rahman.Past it Larry easily beat Ray Mercer where on the go Lennox beat Mercer in a questionable decision.
    1.Muhammed Ali
    2.Larry Holmes
    3.Joe Louis
    4.Jack Johnson
    5.George Foreman
    The rest in no particular order are Joe Frazier,Rocky Marciano,Lennox Lewis,Evander Holyfield,Gene Tunney,Jack Dempsey,Harry Wills,Mike Tyson.

Very nice list, I would drop Dempsey and Marciano for Johnson and Liston though.

    Here's the thing with Tyson.

His reign was pretty dominant, His head to head ability cannot be discounted on the basis that he was the last HW champion to top the p4p lists 2 consecutive years at a time when Marvin Hagler, Julio Cesar Chavez and Donald Curry were still active and relevant to thier respective devisions. That is impressive in itself. He unified the titles one by one not only beating the title holders but beating the guys who they beat to get the title.

Look at Frazier, Foreman, Dempsey, Marciano and Liston who I'm assuming makes your top 10 Mike Tyson has more depth on his resume than they do. How do you ask?

Simple take the top 15 names on thier resume and in no particular order compare them to each other. You'll see that Tyson's list may not have an signature win that can outshine an 'Ali' or a 'Frazier' on it but it does have a larger variety of top 10 contenders thereby adding significant depth.

He's not the greatest of all time but he's definately top 10 material.

Strength and Power are not synonymous. Jack Johnson was 100yrs ago, weighed 16st and could fight for 2hrs. He'd play with most champs in any era.
Ali, Foreman, Johnson, Louis, Lewis,Tyson, Frazier, Holmes, Tunney, Liston. (In no particular order)

Lewis should be above Frazier, and Foreman, too.
