Whose style conquers who? Every boxer is in their pinnacle shape for today (no injuries, illnesses), but also, it is for a fight within the next 2-3 months so no 'in 3 years time he'd win'.

    In my opinion..

    1. Fury
    2. Joshua
    3. Usyk
    4. Wilder
    5. Hrgovic
    6. Joyce
    7. Ortiz
    8. Whyte
    9. Povetkin
    10. Parker

Fury just has style advantage over everyone, only way to beat him is to nail him to the canvas (which is possible), Usyk is only guy really who can possibly outbox him.

Joshua is a mix of skill and power, should be too much for most on the list. Fury, Wilder and Usyk all have good winning potential vs him for different reasons.

Usyk is the most skilled and talented by far, but may just be too small for some of the super heavyweights.

Wilder is the biggest puncher in the division, has an unusual style and fast hands. Can be out boxed and is rudimentary at times in his boxing.

Hrgovic is the new Klitschko (a mix of Vitali and Wlad), very polished, fast and has a nice right hand. Apparently iron chinned, too. I'd probably put him above Wilder within a year, but he doesn't have experience right now.

Joyce, the juggernaut, has the best workrate in the division and hits very hard too. A bit too stationary for some of the boxers or punchers so can be outboxed or clean KOed. Middle of the pack suits him.

Ortiz a couple of years ago would be higher up, looked a bit stale and old in most recent fights. Very skilled still however, slowing down in both workrate and handspeed.

Whyte is getting better and better, nice jab, decent skills and power. He has shown good toughness to grit his way through Parker fight.

Povetkin is another small but very talented guy, also on the old side and would have been higher up a couple years ago. Skilled enough to outbox most on this list, small enough to be grappled and bullied on inside.

Parker is being overlooked due to his back to back close losses to Joshua and Whyte. Still an elite boxer, lacks in mental fortitude. Can easily see him picking up a couple 'upset' wins over some of the guys I ranked higher, such as Joyce.

Won't rank Miller as he was all PEDs.

I would really have Wilder above Usyk right now.

    Change Uysk for Wilder.

Parker beats Ortiz, Parker around 7-8. Ortiz down to 9-10. Whyte moves up.

    its a decent list.

I think Rivas will earn a spot after his fight with Whyte.

I think Joshua should be top. He showed how smart he was against Povetkin, and that skill has slowly been improving over time. I think that's why, for me at least, puts him ahead of Fury now. And Fury is one of my favourite fighters and still is. I just think AJ is the most balanced heavyweight by far. He has a bit of everything. He has a good enough chin to bulldoze through Wilder, and he's become smart and accurate enough to catch both Wilder and Fury and challenge Fury over 12 rounds.

That's the key. AJ is becoming very accurate with his shots. He doesn't waste as much as he did, and when he lands once, it's almost like he's stuck to his opponent and they can't escape the relentless assault.

I honestly feel that AJ vs Fury isn't the Fury win that we originally thought. AJ is too accurate and Fury is vulnerable. And AJ can keep up with Fury when it comes to points scoring now.

He's got the skill to hold his own not just against Fury but also now against Usyk. I feel Usyk causes issues for Wilder but Fury's reach and AJ's accuracy + both guys' size advantage pose too many questions for usyk to overcome.

I also feel like Povetkin is a nightmare for both Wilder and Fury. He knows how to figure out the reach advantages that they have over him, and his hooks are devastating. I'd push Povetkin up a bit. I think the Whyte fight is a 50-50. The longer it goes though, the more it favors Whyte because Povetkin's stamina is a problem for him. I also feel like Povetkin smashes Ortiz to pieces. Ortiz to me is a little overrated.

I think your list is the most accurate and comprised of genuine contenders who have proved themselves. I'm happy for anyone who wants to interchange the top 3 .

To have people like Joyce or Hrgovic in the top ten would be based on pure speculation. I know Usyk hasn't done anything at HW yet but we have seen him in with HW sized guys and he's looked legit.

I struggle to keep my cool with the above posters, so instead of going ballistic at their pathetic lists, I made my own.

And thankfully it has reached the right people. Cheers ACE.

I can only make it based on what I've seen, not what I think or speculation. Any of those prospects can fill the vacant slots.

Can you believe one poster still had Parker above Whyte, dear god.

By Dillian Whyte May 2019 -

“Everyone says, ‘Joshua has only had a few fights’. I had seven amateur fights and 26 pro fights. When you talk about experience – I am the one that is inexperienced. Look at all the heavyweights, I am the only one.

“But I would fight any one of them and give them all the worst night of their lives.

“I would back him [Joshua] up from round one. No excuses but last time I had a different coach. We worked to draw him into the later rounds then try to take over, but I got injured and was in terrible condition.

“Next time I will take the fight to him – I am fitter, better, bigger, stronger.

“I watched a video of our last fight and saw how much smaller my legs and shoulders were. I am bigger now.

“A lot of things that he has been doing for 11 years, I’ve only just cottoned onto. I am closing the gap.”

    1. Joshua
    2. Fury
    3. Wilder
    4. Joyce
    5. Hrgovic
    6. Usyk ( hes already Joshua's mando has to be included somewhere around top 5 )
    7. Whyte
    8. Povetkin
    9. Ortiz
    10. Ruiz ( should be undefeated or had a belt ,fighting for a title shot sees him here ,but cant see him maintaining with the current stacked era creeping in already. I can see one of the guys taking off coming back in like Pulev or Parker within the year.

Out of my top 10 for now Parker ,Breazeale, Takam ,Pulev , Miller

The entire top 10 is going to shift with former champions leaving due to new guys coming in and losses where they will have to get back in by defeating these guys and top guys needing a key win with better fighters here now on the scene....

Right now, based on head to head

1 ) Joshua the best until beaten
2 ) Fury - Hard to out box, but still has a lot to prove
    3 ) Hrgovic - On the rise
4 ) Wilder - power saves him, won't fight a top ten guy under 37 year of age. A cherry picker
5 ) Whyte - Decent, worthy of another title shot
6 ) Povetkin - On the decline, but still good as he showed vs Joshua. Older.
7 ) Usyk - On the rise, needs heavyweight fights to rate higher
8 ) Pulev - On the decline, but he can still box
9 ) Parker - A good opponent these days, lacks fire
10 ) Ruiz - Comes to fight, gets Joshua next. A good showing even in a loss can move him up a spot or two on this lis.t

Might be there in 2-4 more fights:

Joyce, Ajagba, Makmudov. Three big punchers.

Top very young talent Jarolov. Age 24. 6-0, 6 KO's. A world of potential. A huge southpaw with excellent straight punching type of skills. Fast has legs of steel. A big time puncher.

    1. Usyk
    2. Joshua (more consistent than Wilder)
    3. Wilder
    4. Ivan Dychko
    5. Fury (offense too limited)
    6. Hrgovic
    7. Ortiz (gets a lot of **** for a fighter who doesn’t lose rounds and almost stopped Wilder)
    8. Miller because size counts
    9. Andy Ruiz
    10. Povetkin
