These (in no order btw) are the 10 that spring to mind.. how would you rank them 1-10? WK Fury VK Sanders Joshua Wilder Byrd Povetkin Haye Peter & would you swap any for some of these? Ruiz, Chagaev, Whyte, Ortiz, Ibragimov, Thompson, Maskaev, Brewster, Froch..
Wlad Fury AJ Vitali Wilder Povetkin Byrd Ruiz Chagaev Parker AJ is over Vitali due to his resume being better. There is not a huge gap between Wilder and Vitali because when looking at resumes they are VERY SIMILAR in caliber of opponents sprinkled in with some top 10 foes. If Wilder get a big win AJ, Fury, Ruiz etc he’ll be ranked over Vitali. Ruiz’s win over along with a very close fight with Parker should be weighted Heavily.
Vitali top 3 Sanders, Peter & Briggs (or Hide..) Wilder top 3 Ortiz, Stiverne & Szpilka (or Breazeale..) I think Vitali was more dominant , b/c Wilder drops rounds in most of his fights whereas Vitali was usually on point throughout most of a fight.. but ye not the greatest resumes .. I'd pick Vitali to beat Wilder too..
I would rate Adamek and Chisora over Peter and Briggs. Peter best wins to date is he beat a 38 yr old Oleg Maskaev 38 yr old blown up James Toney and 37 year old Jamel Mccline. He turned out to be fools gold. Shannon Briggs was 39 years old and hadn’t beaten a top 50 HW in years before becoming a “viable opponent for Vitali”. Like I said their resumes are very similar and if Wilder beats Fury, AJ or Ruiz then should rightfully be ranked higher than Vitali. I do agree Vitali would straight right Wilder into submission.
