Kid Kaplan, Maxie Rosenbloom, Jackie Fields, Georgie Abrams and Battling Levinsky deserve consideration. Lots of great Jewish fighters though so it’s a hard list to make

 

Sid Terris has quite a reputation for being a great boxer with great footwork.

I´ve seen Alphonse Halimi being listed as jewish, which I never knew to be true since he was algerian and I thought all algerians were muslims...

All of the North African countries had populations of Sephardic Jews. They were displaced if not murdered in the 1950s and 60s. Thr Algerians mostly went to France, but Israel took in most from the other countries (not fact checking). These countries have virtually no Jews now.
