i thought it was jose luis ramirez who boxed ramirez and chavez etc? a tough fighter with a smashing left and a ton of heart. don't know if he's in the top ten though. and i forgot about monzon altogether! this is harder than it looks.
It was JLR that fought and kod Rosario. He also fought Chavez but clearly lost and Chavez was not really trying. He was a good fighter but not a top 10 or even close.
both of them ko'd rosario and chavez may not have been trying when he fought ramirez because they were compadres (godparents).
spanish class in the US consist of Castillian spanish as a posed to the other dialecs. castillian spanish is only spoken in spain. that won't get you anywher in latin america but say if you speak mexican sapnish you'll be better understood.

Agreed. I don't expect he'll get many shouts either, but he really is one of the most underrated, accomplished fighters of all time. He often gets overlooked because of his series against Griffith, but when you take into account how close the series was (even though he lost 3-1, some say the decisions were so close it could've easily been 3-1 the other way), it's easy to rank him right alongside the Griffith's and Gavilan's of the WW division.
