    #10. Marco Antonio Barrera
    #9. Chucho Castillo
    #8. Juan Manuel Márquez
    #7. Érik Morales
    #6. Carlos Zárate
    #5. Salvador Sánchez
    #4. Vicente Saldívar
    #3. Julio César Chávez
    #2. Miguel Canto
    #1. Rubén Olivares

Top 5 is locked imo, the order is completely subjective. I'd say Sanchez is 5th but 1-4 can be argued in any order. The way you split them imo is based on what you like, Chavez's consistency, dominance and longevity could tip it to him. Saldívar's résumé and run at FW, same with Canto at fly. I went with Olivares though, as he has a healthy mix of all of these attributes, and I have him top 2 at BW.

As for 10-6, it's much harder to get the names right imo. It should be, there's more of them! Zárate is just a shade below Sanchez, he'd probably be above him if it wasn't for the 7 year retirement. Then again, if Sanchez hadn't died he could've been #1. Alas, Zárate is at #6. Morales is probably the controversial opinion here, I'm of the opinion that his win over Pacquiao is better than Márquez's, based on Pac being better at SFW in '06, than he was at WW in '12. I also had the third Barrera fight 115-113 to Morales. Imo Morales came out on top of a better Barrera than Márquez, and has the better Pacquiao win. The rest of their wins are on very equal terms. Both had good longevity too, especially Márquez. Chucho has one of the best wins on the list, plus the Rose fight. Underrated résumé, I can definitely see a switch with him him and Barrera but I hold Olivares as a stronger force than Morales so I swung his way. Barrera could definitely be higher, but it doesn't sit right with me to have him above Morales or Márquez, Zárate too. His losses to Jones, Morales(imo) plus doing the worst against Pacquiao hold him back.

Lopez might be a technical marvel, but he ain't got the résumé for this lot. Herrera is very underrated and I can see him swapped with Chucho or MAB. I'm not as informed on him though so I didn't.

When he retires, I can see Canelo on the list.

How did you score the other Marquez-Pacquaio fights? IMO he won all four so if you use your own scorecard for Barrera-Morales III you can do it for Marquez-Pacquaio series. I do see where you’re coming from with a 2005 Pacquaio but you must also remember at that point Morales was probably bigger than him and by 2011, 2012, Pacquaio was bigger and it was Marquez jumping up two weight divisions. Morales also got smashed by Pacquaio twice so objectively Marquez performed much better over a series.

Good points. I had Márquez-Pacquiao 2/2 iirc. 1&2 being for Pacquiao, 3&4 being for Márquez. As for Morales-Pacquiao 2&3, it's a good point but I thought that Morales was a bit past it for the first so I did for 2 as well(especially after losing to Raheem), and definitely for the third. Eh, either way, it's close but I give it Morales. I would love to give credit for Márquez's controversial losses, but I haven't seen all of them. Morales' other(lesser) notable wins imo, are better than Márquez's.

Arizmendi is an often overlooked guy for whatever reason.

Jose Medel too. Look at his resume and also there’s plenty of film of him looking badass:-

Harada (KO win & close loss past his peak)
    Toluco Lopez x2
    McGowan
    Pimentel
    Yoaita
Esparza (around the time Esparza beat Harada in Japan)
    Pina
    Seki
    Sanchez
    Marques
    Elias
    Corona
    Sarduy
    Hawkins
    Danny Kid
    Barrios
    Asis

Etc; etc; plus we’ll beyond prime beat Armstrong got a draw with Chucho and also dropped Rose and ran him close.

That list was making some sense until.... Miguel Angel Gonzalez top 10????? Not even top 100 in my opinion. In talent or resume. And, although I always liked Zaragoza, no way is he top 10.

Already second guessing myself here. Baby Arizmendi definitely deserves a mention, even if it's just as a footnote. Wins over Armstrong(twice!) Chalky Wright, Freddie Miller, Newsboy Brown ect. I'd probably put him somewhere like 8-10. Canelo too, although he wouldn't make 10 yet.
