1. Sergio Martinez 2. Felix Sturm 3. Gennady Golovkin 4. Daniel Geale 5. Dmitry Pirog 6. Matthew Macklin 7. Andy Lee 8. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr 9. Hassan N'Dam N'kijam 10. Khurtsidze/Proksa/Zbik/Rubio/Quillen/Korobov[/quote]
Who has Lee beat to get ranked so high? On resume he's below 8-10 and h2h i'd rank him even lower. I like Lee i just don't think he's as good as th rest listed. I'd love to see him vs Khurtsidze.
Somebody else put him at #5, genius. (??) But really, a 6'2" southpaw with decent power -he kind of has Steward in his corner too- gives fits to a lot of guys at 160. I agree, maybe he's a tad high on my list, but there are a lot of debates and a lot of unknows between the 6th and 12th spots at MW. Lots of guys are still young too.
1. martinez 2. piroq 3. kam 4. macklin (yes he beat sturm) 5. sturm 6. proksa 7. lee 8. geale 9. rubio 10. zbik (yes he beat ch avez jr.)
Yeah a very good point but at the same I think he is good enough he just needs to box a couple of them.My personal opinion go looking for Sturm I think he has all the ability to beat him but having said that Lee leaves his chin high and is there to be Knocked out.The learning experience is over its time to prove how good Lee is.
I will go one further and say that the top 20 are any of 1. martinez 2. pirog 3. golovkin 4. macklin (yes he beat sturm) 5. sturm 6. proksa 7. lee 8. geale 9. quillin 10. Manfredo 11. kam 12. rubio 13. Lemeiux 14. Barker 15. zbik (yes he beat ch avez jr.) 16. Guerrero 17. Jacobs 18. Khurtsidze 19. chavez jr 20. mundine I would say apart from Martinez the rest could be debated for all kinds of reasons on their order. However what defines the potential in this division is that there is not that wide a gap between the best of these 20 and the worse. Especially in comparison to other divisions. McEwan could get back in there but I don't see sylvester in there.
