personally I found myself falling asleep/losing interest in his feather fisted british title fights that I saw which always went the distance. (maybe I missed his more exciting fights)
Okolie boring? Granted would be up there pre Shane but since being trained by Shane Okolie has been entertaining. Chisora is just an absurd call too.
Why is Campbell Hatton on that list ?????????????? you deserve a long ban from this site !! please take him out of that list !
Chisora is as boring as they come. Same old thing. Plod forward, "comes to fight", throw overhand right with his head down at his waist, if he gets hit, he backs off to the ropes and bounces up down on his toes for a while. Even if he's in a close bout, or is clearly losing, he does the same thing and doesn't mix it up. He's a bore.
Hi Derek The best plodder in the world and has brought it to every fight from York Hall to Monte Carlo Casino with most of his violence rumoured to be in his bedroom.
I agree he is limited and predictable but he has been in great entertaining fights - Takam, Parker, Haye and both Whyte fights.
The issue isn’t that particular fighters are boring to watch. The major issue is promoters who don’t allow any of their best fighters to ever have 50/50 or entertaining fighters. Then tie up the division in rematch clauses which are bad for the sport whenever they lose. Back in the day the rematch happened if the first fight was close or controversial or it was a great fight. It didn’t happen because you were lawyered up and threatening the opponent with all sorts unless they fought your golden goose again. Also the boxing authorities need to stop sanctioning mismatches. Those are the most boring to watch of the lot. You have fighters 12 fights into their career and they still haven’t even been remotely tested yet. These joke mismatches dont help the fighter either, just ask Yarde or look at Buatsi’s career.
Still makes me laugh when people bang on about that like it was The Rumble in the Jungle ll. 2 out of shape European level plodders barely mustering the energy to throw a punch.
