Who are your top 10 British prospects/contenders that you are most interested in following their progress? These are fighters from the fringes of world class i.e. Bellew, Groves to upcoming prospects i.e. Cardle, Ryder, Buligoni etc...

The fighters that intrigue you most i.e. due to their ability, style or entertainment value - they don't necessarily have to be your top ten tips for world glory etc.:good

I'll throw a few random names in the hat of fighters that I enjoy watching:

Steve O'Meara and Kevin Mitchell - really like their well schooled boxing style even if they are a bit vulnerable.

Phil Fury - value for money fighter, full of balls and fight and entertaining to watch

Matt Hainey - just on the strength of watching his fight with Quato which was an absolute war, my domestic fight of 2012 and would like to see Hainey again in a rematch.

John Ryder - think he is one to watch, classy boxer and intelligent agression, he could go far.

Chisora - always entertaining and full of fight, I havent seen a boring fight with Chisora in it.

Terry Caruthers - pure entertainment, loves a good scrap and good to watch.

Gary Davies - he lost against Hall, but I have seen him on under cards and he has a vicious streak, big puncher and enjoy watching him, I would like to see him back in the ring again soon.

Groves - Class act and he can win a world title, he is going to be involved some top fights in the future

Degale - I still believe he is class, there was nothing in it in his fight with Groves, he went off the boil a bit after that but, he has it all ahead of him and I enjoy his style.

Bellew - he has used his skills moreso recently, but I can see him in some exciting fights in the future, there are some good fights to be made in his division

Nick Blackwell is an interesting one. Clearly had no business being in with Martin Murray at that stage of his career, but he gave Billy Joe Saunders a few things to think about. Manage his career properly and I have a suspicion he could do a bit.

Kid Galahad - I love his style but he's in a tough domestic division

Andrew Selby - He's been doing really well in WSB & will hopefully turn pro later this year

Chad Gaynor - Only saw flashes of his talent in prizefighter but he looks very promising

Anthony Fowler - Still an amateur & sadly broke his hand in his opening WSB fight. The kid is a beast

Deoin Jumah- Double ABA champion with an aggressive style, hopefully the Sauerlands keep him busy

Joe Boy Taylor - Crowd pleasing style & a personality to match

Adam Etches - had a quieter 2012 than I wouldve liked but he hits hard & is fun to watch. 2013 could be a big year on the domestic scene at middleweight

Simon Vallily - he looked good winning the CW games in 2010 & has recently gone pro. Another good addition to the British cruiserweight scene

Chris Eubank Jr - not everyone's cup of tea but I like Jr, he's developing steadily & will be in bigger & better fights in 2013

Kal Yafai - I love his bodywork, it will be interesting to see him at super-fly in the future

Dillian Whyte - Looking forward to his comeback from an unfortunate ban. War Dillian

Plenty of good fighters coming out of Liverpool at the minute. I liked the look fo Calum Smith when he fought Tolan, very fast hands for a big lad and good power.

Yeah, Ryder's one guy who's really impressed me recently. Plenty of talent and improving all the day, his performance against a solid guy like O Kane leads me to believe he's head and shoulders above everyone at domestic level already, besides BJS of course.

Hughie Fury, although he's a fighter ive not seen much of seen much of, sounds like a really good prospect, with a fair amateur pedigree, forward to seeing how he does as a pro.

Khail Yafai looks like a serious prospect, great amateur pedigree, a lot of skill and he's progressing nicely in the pro's.

From an Irish perspective Jamie Conlan, Jamie Kavanagh and Philip Sutliffe Jr look good at the moment. Conlan, a solid body punching pressure fighter although inactive recently had a good win over Mike Robinson, and could be in the ring with Paul Butler soon enough.

Sutcliffe, who turned pro recently, is a really entertaining prospect, and a decent hitter to boot. Athough he won two national titles, he lacked the style to be successful long term in the amateurs, he should have turned pro a few years ago. I expect him to be moved fairly fast in the coming years.

Jamie Kavanagh is plying his trade in America right now, training at Freddie Roach's gym, and is progressing steadily. He's got a record of 13-0-1, his only blip being a draw to an underrated journeyman a while back. His biggest flaw is his defense, and it could cost him at a higher level, but right now it just makes him all the more entertaining. See his fight with Ramon Valdez, which was an eight round C R A C K E R.

Some good mentions here. Never liked the hype that came with Eubank Jr's pro debut, but thankfully that seems to have settled down, expectations have been lowered somewhat, and he's moving along nicely. His opponents for the most part have been solid, more solid than most prospects at that stage of their careers, and have offered him a few stern tests. He's definitely improving and could be close to a British title shot by the end of the year.

Selby looks class, really top notch skills and speed, been performing great in the WSB against some really good operators. Pity about the ******ed showboating though :conf

Joe boy Taylor and Jumah both sound interesting and werent on my radar, glad I made this thread, this is the kind of info I had hoped for. How did Jumah end up under the Sauerland promotional banner - I take he was a top amateur?

Good fights in the future for Eubank Jr, I liked Dillian Whyte too - a pity what happened to him as well and I agree the body punching of Yafai is what has stood out most for me from the couple of times that I have seen him.

:yep It is pretty funny sometimes though. I loved his last fight when he completely clowned that guy infront of a very pro-Ukrainian crowd.

I saw his first fight in WSB live & he was pure class.

Kalle Sauerland was at the ABAs when Jumah won for the 2nd time, they love cruiserweights in Germany

At British Level got to be

Ian Butcher... At the fringes and sure will fight for a British title within the year

Kal Yafai... World Champion in the making

Ronnie "The Shark"Clark... Very entertaining with knockout power and Charisma to match big things from him this year

Craig Evans.. Fast hands a excellent talent sure to be at British Title level very soon

Scott Cardle/Maxi Hughes.... Winner will go on to be British Champion

John Thain.. Very talented lacks power but think will go very far..

Chris Eubank Jnr... Most under rated prospect in the uk

Stephen Simmons... Another one that I believe will be British Champion within a couple of years..

Davie Drummond.. Surprised me on his debut last week he is a bit older and may need to be moved very fast but to knock out Moses Mtevo says it all and giving away over a stone might cause some shock waves over the next 12 months
