    The Orient has churned out it's fair share of the naturally gifted type with Harada, Park, Chang, Gushiken, Watanabe, Chitalada etc, though Park's mental make up and Gushiken's mediocre opposition doesn't do either of them many favours. Even types like Galaxy, Moon and of course Pacquiao who aren't great all round natural talents per se, but have certain freakish attributes.

    Not what the thread asked for exactly, but nevermind....

    Willie Pep, Pernell Whitaker, Muhammad Ali, Nicolino Locche, Wilfred Benitez, SRL, SRR and Jose Napoles stand out for me as far as natural talent is concerned.

    For a modern pick I think Martinez really fits the bill. He kind of has his own swagger and feel. Not the most technically schooled guy, either. Reminds me of Locche a little (His swagger).

    In the near 70 years I've watched the best fighters in the world spar 'n fight, never seen anything as magical as the born-to-box Willie Pep. He personified "natural." The day he put on gloves, he was able to do what he did in his prime. Flouted every rule, but awed 'n delighted the toughest critics 'n fans.
