    Exactly!! He, like many other bonafide power artists neglected to develop his skills moving forward because to a large extent he didn't have to. They get seduced by the power (who wouldn't) and change style. Rosario was another example on a lesser plateau. Gomez had some serious skills eary on.

    Canzi was a way better hitter than Toney. He also had a superior haircut.

    I would not put Gushiken in the category of Harada, Park, Chang, et al. in terms of natural talent.
