    It said "it's conceivable"....

It's very easy to use such vague terms (what does Ring consider a dominant performance, what's boring to them, etc). He made no promises, and HE doesn't decide the list from my understanding. It's done by a group, a committee if you will. You're taking a statement that was vague in the first place and hardly a declaration and turning it into a promise and a fact. I think that's a mistake.

    As I said....he said CONCEIVABLE.

And he doesn't make that decision. Unless he is speaking for the committee that makes the p4p list.

And if they remove PBF for being BORING, especially if he wins a clear UD, they will lose credibility. Fighters are not judged on excitment when it comes to P4P and ATG lists.

Unfortunately, the Ring Editor-in-Chief doesn't decide the P4P list - there's about 20+ guys on a committee who are polled, and enough of them would need to change their votes for Pac to overtake PBF. I'm sure a few of them already vote for someone other than PBF.

To answer the original question, here's a guess as to what the Ring rankings might look like:

    1) PBF (after cruising past Hatton)
    2) Pac (after beating MAB)
    3) JM Marquez (after beating Juarez)
    4) Calzaghe (after soundly whooping Kessler)
    5) Hopkins
    6) Izzy Vasquez
    7) Miguel Cotto (after beating Mosley)
    8) R. Marquez
    9) W. Wright
    10) Juan Diaz (after beating Julio Diaz)

Well then saying that is entirely different than what is being said in this thread by some others. There is no guarantee that this scenario takes place, which is how it has been coming off from some of Pacman's supporters.

What you just said is not the same as this...

That might very well happen with the exception of having Manny over Floyd. Floyd will stay p4p #1 if he beats Hatton.

I agree with what you said.

Caveat is when Floyd beats Hatton in a SD or a controversial decision. I'm expecting a Floyd whopping of Hatton.

Problems, Jaurez and Hatton have little chance, Pacman would still be better than Cotto for his all around record and a new blasting of Barrera even if Cotto rapes Mosely.

    Mijares, good call.

    Dawson, good call.

Pavlik KOing shitty Taylor doesn't merit a top 5 spot, it merits a top 12 spot.

Floyd down low, can't justify it because he'll win, but you can absolutely justify Pacman ovr him and I do.

Kessler beats Calzaghe? It's arguable for a top spot.
