GGG does not belong in this list nor does Loma after the manner of his loss yesterday to Lopez. Jermell Charlo as undisputed 154 champion goes into the list.
Lol Canelo is not P4P. He has plenty of gift descisions. He is a drug cheat still cheating and getting people kissing his ass.
Lomachenko needs to avenge his loss to Lopez. He did not perform like a pound for pound champion yesterday it was not even close. I am not denigrating him but he drops out of the top 10 P4P for now. I don’t personally like Jermell but you have to respect what he has done knocking out both Harrisson and Rosario to collect all the belts is worthy. Yes to be frank I never thought I would have Jermell in the P4P rankings so I am eating humble pie on this.
Nonsense, Olu. I'm not going to get into a but GGG beat Clenelo argument with you because obviously it's just going to be a stupid game of you denying he was robbed because it fits your agenda. But regarding Jermello. He's beaten 3 world champions in 36 fights for goodness sake. He lost to a C level with a glass jaw in Harrison who had been KO'd by a C level in Nelson and Rosario was KO'd by Gallimore for goodness sake. The other world champion he beat is a semi-shot old Trout. Briedis deserves a place in the top 10 more than Jermello. He's beaten more world champions in less fights in Dorticos, Glowacki, Huck, and Charr and losing a razor-close decision to a P4P top 5 talent like Usyk (top 3 in my rankings) shits all over anything Jermello has ever achieved. There's a world of difference between going life and death with glass jaw Harrison x 2 and nearly beating Usyk lol. The chasm in talent levels is as vast an ocean lol
His name is Jermell not Jermello. I know you don’t like him and to be frank I am not a fan of his and his twin brothers personalities. The bottom line is Jermell has cleaned up the division and done it in style. I did not think he would but he has so at the very least we have to respect his historic achievements. This dislike tends to cloud people’s judgments. Harrisson is a highly skilled boxing operator from the Mid-West USA, where the best boxers in the world historically come from. Yes that is numerically better than your gypsy folks, my African guys, the East Europeans and Hispanic Latino fighters all great schools of boxing as well you know. If you go back in history you pick a truly great fighter don’t be surprised if they lost to someone from the Mid-West. As GGG or as some call him Lil G I have been consistent that he lost both fights to Clenelo or the Clenbuterol kid as you like to call him. There was a time Lil G belong in the P4P ratings but he does not anymore nor does Nomaschenko certainly at this point in time. I have not discounted the merits of Bredis all I am saying is that Lil G and Nomaschenko currently are not in P4P ratings. If Lomachenko fights Lopez again he will get stopped and be beaten up badly and as you know I have always felt Tank has his number.
I like this list only Bud goes down init,, I'd have him about the same as Spence till thay fight. Ps I'd have Fury in this list not sure where lol.
lets just get this right without the guy who was watching the fight on his phone from ringside who had ritson as a clear winner fury is a deafted heavy weight just pointing out the facts
Crawford Inoue Spence Clenelo Estrada Lomachenko Usyk Beterbiev Pacman Taylor Edit: forgot about Usyk.
Shamefully I still get confused between the two brothers, but imo Jermall ranks higher p4p than Jermell. Both have an argument for p4p ranking. Too many good, prime young fighters like these coming through to rank GGG in the top ten. His best days are well behind him and I only see close fights and losses for him here on out. Loma is still a lock for me though.
1. GGG, he isnt but hes still undefeated and everyone seems to rate the guy who failed to beat GGG as number 1. 2. Inoue 3. Lomachenko 4. Usyk 5. Crawford 6. Shawn Porter in an alternate universe where he's as marketable as Canelo 7. Beterbiev 8. Tyson Fury 9. Errol Spence 10. Canelo
For me: Oleksander Usyk Saul Alvarez Genndy Golovkin Naoya Inoue Terrence Crawford Teofimo Lopez Errol Spence Vasyl Lomachenko Juan Francisco Estrada Tyson Fury
