Sky having Frampton in the top 10? Not a chance if Hearn has anything to do with it. I seen the other week they had some listings and Frampton was ranked 19TH in the division!!!
As good a fighter Murray is he can't possibly be number 2 and Quigg hasn't fought anyone to be number 3 come on Sky get real
Anyone with any common sense can see that though - he's a dead cert to be a world champion and no doubt a solid one at that.
Yeah they do its based on rankings of opponents and quality of opposition so once again in Britain froch and burns are 1 & 2 murray is probably third due to his lose to two world champions, the others with one world title fight or none have to be lower on list simple as that
What is it with people hugely over rating Mulloker Murray? Is that some sort of a disease or what? Also , having been the only "Brit" to defeat the great champion Felix Sturm, who easily out pointed Mulloker Murray and squashed barker like a panzer rolling over a Morris Minor, shouldn't matthew Macklin be in there too?
1. Carl Froch 2. Carl Frampton 3. Scott Quigg 4. George Groves 5. Amir Khan 6. Jamie McDonnell 7. Ricky Burns 8. Lee Selby 9. Kell Brook 10. Martin Murray
Everyone placed below Carl Froch is a debate in itself, I have two guys who have not really fought top world class fighters at 2 and 3 and a former established world champion at 5……... Its down to interpretation. And my interpretation is always who I consider the best fighters taking into account standing in the sport, ability and lastly, form or momentum, it amounts to the same thing. It cannot really be debated that Carl Froch is currently Britain's best P4P fighter, even if he lost his next bout I'd still rank him there given British boxing is going through somewhat of an overhaul right now (Cleverly, Barker, Bellew, Burns, Haye and so on……….
Thank you, I usually post a list first and pick holes in others second, just so everyone is clear what my own rankings are :smooch
