Oscar is ridiculous, yet so, so much less ridiculous than Braddock.

It's difficult to understand your criteria when you rank Marty Servo or Joey Maxim in your top 10.

I have never ranked Marty Servo in a top 10, ever:patsch (unless of course i was having a sly dig at Ray Robinson fans) Though you would have to say that Marty Servo's performance against a prime Sugar Ray Robinson are probably top 10 performances of all time.

Joey Maxim has his claim to be high based on level of opposition fought and beat, best Results, and ability to survive the distance with great fighters. But if you read carefully, you will find i actually never really ranked him in the top 10. Though he is an awful lot closer than most people think.

One of the worst lists i've seen in my whole life, and i'm not the type to exaggerate. I'm all for it being subjective, but that list is appauling

That list was awful. First off, how does a P4P list consist of almost exclusively HWs??? Braddock? One of the weakest champions EVER? Its basically a top ten list of the most well known fighters topped off by the "safe, and accepted" P4P pick of Robinson.

Man I just had to add to this. This list is so dependant on HWs. The HW division is historically one of the weakest divisions AND historically HWs dont place very high on P4P lists for two reasons: 1. The P4P list designed to give lighter fighters the credit that that they deserve but dont get because HWs garner so much attention from them, and 2. Because, generally, even the best HWs are fairly weak in head to head matchups p4p because so much of their game is reliant on either size, strength, and power, or taking advantage of fighters who over rely on those attributes. Hence the skill level, timing, athleticism, and stamina, cant really compete with the lower division. Thus it is amazing to me, absolutely stunning, that nearly half way up the list we find a fighter in James Braddock who was an incredibly weak champ, in an incredibly weak division. Its mind boggling and the only thing I can chalk his appearance in this list up to is the fact that some layman who had seen Cinderella Man thought of adding him (just wait until Mickey Ward starts popping up on these lists in a couple years). Think about it, match Braddock head to head, prime for prime, against almost any HW champ, CW champ, LHW champ, and most great MW champs, and he comes out a loser in those fights. How in gods name do you place him number 6 on a p4p list when you have so many great fighters in so many divisions to chose from??? You could easily bump him down the list just by picking the best champ in the traditional 8 divisions ahead of him. I can think of 10 middleweights ALONE that would rank FAR higher on a P4P list than Braddock.

    Awful list.

    Braddock !
    No Henry Armstrong, no Greb.
    Ray Leonard !?! Where's Benny Leonard ?

Again, heavyweights are over-represented. 6 out of the 10 are heavies.
    Very bad list.

The best part is the comments. Of the four, there is one call for Floyd Mayweather Jr., one for RJJ, and two incensed at the exclusion of Iron Mike Tyson.

Braddock, Marciano and even Johnson are bad choices for a pound-for-pound top 10. Having Marciano above Louis shows ignorance as well.

Askmen? more like ask a can of Pepsi. No Willie Pep and no Henry Armstrong and freakin Russell Crowe makes it along with De La Hoya. That's lunacy.
