can someone please tell me what the hell pavlik has done to become p4p top 5 in many peoples list - other than being white and american at the same time?

i dont care that im making racial connotations - the guy has done **** ALL, other than beating a man who everyone labelled a fraud long before he fought pavlik...

its hypocrisy because he is 10th at best - and thats being really really generous.

You could say the same thing about JC IMO and most people have him rated in their top two. Stop hating.....you're probably just pissed cause you don't like watching a white boy knocking all the brotha's out.

How can anyone say that about Joe when he's had success in 2 divisions all Kelly has is success at 1 weight class and against 1 top opponent ..He shouldn't even be above the 10th spot ..Oh wait but isn't Joe white ..

He's done nothing outside of beating Taylor at middle but now he's ranked in the top 5 p4p ? This is why this list is tainted its turning more and more as a list for who's more popular ..Pound for pound was meant for a fighter who has pretty much super natural abilities regradless of weight ..What so super natural about Kelly ? Nada he's a rugged and sturdy fighter but p4p wise where is the speed ? Defense ? Foot work ? All the intangibles that make one p4p best ? Was all that missed because Kelly is Blue Collar ? I think so !

I already know what certain posters are going to say about Pavliks placing. Quite simply for me the fighters I have above him are better boxers until proven otherwise, with most having better resumes as well.

You can easily dissect Calzaghe's best wins throughout his career and make the argument that he's only undefeated because he spent most his career fighting creampuffs in Whales.

    Thanks.

I just can't find a place for B-Hop at present in my top 15, I really can't. He still has the technique of a pound for pounder, but everything else I can't see it. I'm also not entirely comftorble with having a 'semi-retired' fighter challenging any top 15 places. We'll see after his next fight.

As for Haye, I am a self confessed Haye fan, followed him for years, and the way he went to Paris and took apart the unified champ then obliterated a fellow belt holder coming off a win against Braithwaite places him inside my top ten. However, it must be said the top 7-12 places are far from secure, with little in it. One great performance by one and one poor performance by one changes things.

    We'll see soon enough.

    :good

Joe Calzaghe must be in top #3 right now, there is no other way,
and Marquez maybe over there if he beat Casamayor, he isn't top 3 at this time.
Everything else debatable as long as you don't have Wright in top 10.
I wouldn't put also Haye over Wlad until Haye back up his skills at HW.
