With all due respect I didn’t say that exactly. The second time around he adjusted and that’s not debatable. He styled all over Roberto.

You implied it when you said "when he didn't want him to". Leonard 'styled all over' Duran, because Duran was off. Not because Leonard had made some brilliant tactical adjustment. He didn't. He just fought how he started to in the first fight and Duran could no longer deal with it.

I’m not going with the myth that Leonard just went out shooting because he was blindly upset or something and that’s why he lost. I’m saying that he got beat and adjusted enough to win.

I just accept it for what I saw. Leonard didn’t make a“brilliant tactical adjustment” ’I didn’t say that at all. Leonard out thought him and outfought him in the rematch till Roberto had enough.

Roberto simply got beat. Ray was good enough to do it the first time just like Roberto was good enough to win the rematch it just happens. The little things just fell in place for Leonard that night. Quite stylishly I might add.

No fight footage whatsoever of Greb, just some exaggerated stories made up by journalists, therefore we don't know if he was any good at cutting of the ring.

Duran was not physically fit to fight, therefore that fight has no relevance whatsoever.

Insert that onto any loss of Duran’s it seems. I like Roberto but he got beat. He still has the first fight. They broke even when it mattered.

He was forced to fight sooner than expected, thus he wasn't ready.

You say " he wasn't ready " and " sooner than expected " from my recollection the second fight was a full 5 months after the 1st !! plenty of time to get ready I would have thought no ?
Also the way I see the fights is, the 1st Leonard wanted to prove he wasn't just a pretty boy fighter with no balls , so went toe to toe with Duran ( he didn't have to, witness the 2nd fight ) and still only lost by the narrowest of margins, the 2nd fight Duran quit, plain and simple, then made up some crap about a stomach upset, Duran the big macho man, who traded on his rep as a tough guy, couldn't fight because his tummy wasn't right , poor little soul.
    stay safe Bomber.

I know this maybe a controversial pick, but I'd say Orlando Canizales. For me the way he used to use angles, to cut off the opponents escape. He also did this when they were on the ropes, I've never seen anyone quite do it quite like him before he had amazing footwork.

Plenty of time only if he knew the second fight was coming in 5 months, but he didn't, he was told way too late.

But he did have to. That's how proper men fight, toe to toe, bitches run.

His stomach wasn't right indeed, that's a fact. He was by no means hurt otherwise.

It was either a Zapata or a Pedroza fight in Panama i dont recall exactly which one it was but i remember that between one of the rounds they talk to Duran who was sitting ringside and when asked why he quit against Leonard he said he quit cause he had breathing dificulties.

Duran is my fav fighter of all time but his excuses for quiting are just BS there was nothing wrong with him he just didnt want it anymore that night.

There's about 5 stories or more running around now as to why he quit. Rest assured his original story wasn't true.

We have footage of his opponents, as well as descriptions of his fights with these opponents. We know how his opponents fought and we know he didn't let them move.

Not sure what you mean when you say " he was told too late " surely a fight of this magnitude, he would have known when he was fighting, as far as I am aware, fighters are not sitting at home hog fat, then get a call telling them they are fighting next week, month, whatever be serious bud .
Slightly taken aback by your next sentence, comes across as immature and nonsensical I have to say.
As to his stomach , not sure you can call that a fact, do not remember any X-rays, or medical reports supporting Durans claim ? he said his stomach was hurting, as far as I can recall it ended there.
I didn't believe it then, and I still don't believe it, he quit, probably because he was being outfought and humiliated.
stay safe buddy, look forward to our next verbal joust.

Probably a ton of little guys were good at it. It’s really not as hard a skill as some make it out to be. It is a skill though that must be learned.
