    Scott Harrison ranks higher than either of them, higher than Gary Jacobs too IMO. Harrison was a titanic *******, of that there is no doubt, but for a brief period he really was a top fighter.

    well no great surprise from me.. i think seeing as buchanan would not of had the power to hurt berg , berg swarms all over buchanan and out works the scott to win a close decision over 15 rounds .this for me is by no means an easy win for berg who i could also see dropping a decision loss to buchanan in a trilogy on a bad night:D

    let the abuse commence :lol:

    Although I too think Buchanan and Lynch were tops, just to add in a few more I would throw in Murray Sutherland, Bert Gilroy, Tommy Milligan and Elky Clark.

    as much as i like berg i can't see him beating king ken.berg would be fighting at 300mph but buchanan would simply out move him.neither of them had great knockout power, but were decent hitters.buchanan had the better chin.
    berg had more women though:hey:hey

    Well I won't abuse you :lol:
    Definitely a distance fight and I think that Jack could definitely make it an uncomfortable night for Ken.

    i know berg lost to canzoneri twice and was ko'd in one of those defeats ,but he did beat canzoneri at lightweight in thier first meeting so he has a better win at lightweight than buchanan has .

    Fighting one of the most important ring struggles of his career, Berg rose to the occasion by giving Canzoneri one of the worst beatings he has ever experienced and winning the decision to the complete satisfaction of the crowd which jammed the Garden. However the official verdict was not unanimous." (James P. Dawson, New York Times). Referee Mike Hylas voted for Canzoneri, while Judges Patrick and Le Cron made Berg the victor.

    canzoneri so i have read had to be carried back to his corner or dressing room after the fight:good

    Ken Buchanan is just a joy to watch. Assholes telling me that the likes of Juan Manuel Marquez are better in the general. Knocks me sick to my stomach.

    Believe it or not and I won't mention any names but I remember someone on here once calling Tony Canzoneri a club fighter.
