overall were a top 5 nation in amateur boxing and currently have 2 pro world champions, not bad for 6 million
Instead of gents making their own list, they are happy with trying to tear down the TS's list. MAKE YO OWN DAM LIST!!
U.S. being the top boxing nation is supposed to be some sort of accomplishment I gather? They have been participating since it's inception and have exponentially more registered pro's and events along with a financially based infrastructure and support system to ensure continued success. The fact that they do not do MUCH better is actually suprising considering all their intrinsic advantages.
What??? Their only world champion is Andy Lee and he's actually British! Their next best boxer is O'Sullivan and he's a journeyman. I don't count amateurs because well, they are amateurs. Amateur boxing is ****. Come back when you prove it in the pros. 1 - USA 2 - Mexico 3 - UK 4 - Russia 5 - Japan 6 - Cuba 7 - Ukraine 8 - Thailand 9 - Phillipines 10 - Germany I put UK higher because, unlike say Japan which has solid boxers in the lower divisions, the UK has world level fighters in just about every division.
I'll go ahead and take Mayweather out of the equation to make things interesting. 1.
