I agree they are both great fighters, and I am aware of their achievements. However, I think the resume of both is a little bit lacking to be considered any higher. They are both great because they are both top 100 fighters, but Benitez does not quite have the resume or longevity to be considered higher in a p4p sense, and Mosley has too many convincing losses (Wright twice, Forrest twice, Cotto and in my opinion Oscar once). I am not remotely impressed by his wins over Vargas or Mayorga, who were both clearly on the downswing when he fought them, and Mayorga was never very good anyway IMO. I give Shane points for appearing to be a great lightweight though he never fought anyone to prove it, for one of the best wins of the decade (Oscar I), for being as effective at welter as he was at light, for longevity, and for the great Margo win. In fact, now I'm talking about it, I may have sold Shane a little short after all!! atsch

Winky Wright Joe Calzaghe Kostya Tszyu Bobby Chacon Antonio Cervantes Sonny Liston Terry Norris Mazie ROsenbloom Hector Camacho Just a wild guess im sure id include or take out some guys if i made a complete list.
ZARATE AT 90-100?!?!!?!?!!!!!??!?! Along with ****ing Dempsey and SSM????!??!!!!!!! This was not your finest hour Pop. :-(
Make your case. Break down why he should be considered that high in terms of resume, ability, accomplishments, and longevity.
That wouldn't constitute making my case... I rate on ability really. Zarate was a complete puncher with one-shot show-stopping power and who could operate competently at all ranges, using every punch in the book to near technical perfection as well as incorporating feints, footwork and advanced defensive manoeuvres into his style. He knocks guys like Arguello out of the park in terms of ability and education, if not so much in terms of record, though the latter is consistently rated in the Top 40 by most posters here. Monzon and Foster - nowhere near.
