Wow that is quite a task to go through the top 100. Impressive. Willie Pep 17? That is the one I would definitely argue strongly against.
I have finally sorted out in my mind, who was better: Chang tops Yuh. Chang tops Galaxy, thus Chang deserves a spot. Mosley was another fighter I should not of overlooked in 2007. I will concede Pryor's work is looking less impressive as time goes by, hence his drop.
I never said they shouldn't have done! But don't make out like Calzaghe was running round like a madman trying to get the fights, because he wasn't. I think Calzaghe has a better chance against Jones than what most do personally, but that's not the discussion here, Amir Khan left Frank Warren and went to America
Yeah, politics will do that for you, props to you for making the list though, i'd end up in a mental institure if i tried.
Pep was brilliant, and I am saying IMO of all the Millions of boxers, who have fought at Queensberry rules, I can only find 16 greater than Pep.
Nah, Pep gets far too much recognition. All good featherweights are Asian or South American, Pep fought in an era before the sport was globalised. Pep was just the standout fighter of a bad bunch, imagine how laughable the featherweight division would be now with only Americans.
Ali over louis is blasphemy it's amazing how so many "knowledgeable" boxing fans have clay as the best heavyweight ever
I think both De La Hoya and JCC are waaaaaay too high, especially De La Hoya, having him at 32 is absolutely ridiculous.
Niether are flavour of the month, and thus both have dropped IMO over the last four years. But both were rather brilliant at their best, and I suspect time will do both a favour.
I found a place for Lynch and Buchanan, I hotshoted Welsh and Driscoll and gave kudos to Mace. As a known Brit I felt I did all I could to further our cause, and the ranking of Calzaghe and Berg (who would very much up there next on the list), would leave me open to calls of bias.
Yoour list isn't too bad actually. There are definitely some problems although still not a bad list compared to what other members have posted on this site. I'll just state the fighters that really stand out to me Red = too high Blue = too low Oh yeah Ricardo Lopez at number 42? Really man? I can understand if you're spanish or something but what the **** is your problem? He belongs nowhere near the top 100. His resume is truly pathetic. I don't undstand how you can have Hopkins and Mayweather so high. Roy Jones easily has the better resume than them. Roy Jones is placed about right though, around 35 is good. But Hopkins and Mayweather should be in the high 40's. Roberto duran at number 3???? Holy ****en **** I don't think i've seen worse than that, that's pretty terrible man. Wow. You have to be spanish.
