I dont have him one, but i dont think Lyle beats him either. At least not at their respective best. At his best i dont see Lewis being drawn into a slugfest with Lyle and I think that is the only way Ron could beat him. Every fighter could lose to any other. When i made this thread i was thinking which fighters had the best chance to beat most other fighters at their best. Arguable of course since its impossible to prove, but food for thought none the less.

That's how you have to look at it. I didn't place Wlad as number four because I think he defeats everyone below him. I just think his style will shut down the most opponets imaginable.

H2H, prime for prime, one fight:

    1. Foreman (If I had to put my savings on 1 HW for 1 fight BGF is my guy)
    2. Lewis
    3. Wlad
    4. Ali
    5. Liston
    6. Bowe
    7. Holmes
    8. Tyson
    9. Vitali
    10. Jefferies
    11. Jack Johnson
    12. John L. Sullivan (Had to give him a spot.)

I have an issue putting the smalls (Marciano, Frazier, Patterson, Dempsey, etc.), sans Tyson, in the Top 12 for strictly H2H P4P fights. Partly because I don't want to go into the what ifs of "modern" nutrition/training and what not. And secondly because size matters, I can't see Rock or Smokin' Joe outing a Prime Bowe. Foreman is a universally in the 3-6 range, and I get that but I'd take him for the given scenario. Especially if the opponent is an unknown (although Ali definitely could be the wisest choice there).

Jeffries is an interesting addition i havent put much thought into. He had decent size even for this era and by all accounts had good speed of both hand and foot, was very strong, iron chinned with incredible stamina. Some years ago i posted a thread (not sure if here oe another site) comparing a fantasy fight between him and Foreman. And while i think he compares favorably against many top fighters h2h im just not convinced he is in the top 12. His best wins come against smaller fighters but its not a leap to imagine him being competitive with bigger slower guys. Cant see him beating most of the guys i posted, but certainly not out of the question. Id be interested in hearing some opinion from guys on here more versed in his career than myself.

thing about wlad is hes NOT good H2H - when he hs stepped up he has lost badly often in seconds. He shouldn't be on H2H lists at all.
