    Early in his pro career Oscar de la Hoya fought at 128 to 133 pounds. Nobody was going to beat him at that weight because of his height, skill and power. He was a face-busting wrecking ball up to 140. Not until he fought at welterweight did anyone have a chance at defeating him.
