The Ultimate Cruisers!!! 1. Louis 2. Holyfield 3. Johnson 4. Dempsey 5. Marciano 6. Tunney 7. Langford 8. Patterson 9. Walcott 10. Charles 11. Schmelling 12. Usyk 13. Fitzsimmons 14. Sullivan 15. Spinks (Honourable mentions: Jackson, Jeanette, Moore, Ray, etc) It's evening here, and yes, I'm a little drunk, but not too bad. How about your lists?
Louis was better above 200lbs imo There's no way Marciano is any less than 2. And his résumé below 200lbs shits over Holyfield's. Anyway, this is imo H2H. Holyfield Marciano Charles Spinks Usyk Byrd Dempsey Jersey Joe Toney Patterson Schmeling Moore Tunney Johnson Langford Fair play to Lach I forgot JJW.
1. Marciano 2.Tunney 3.Holyfield 4. Moore 5 Dempsey 6 Patterson 7 Walcott 8 Charles 9 Roy Jones 10 Schmeling 11 Spinks 12 Usyk 13 Harold Johnson 14 Jerry Quarry 15. Eddie Machen Could change a few and that’s the basic order I’d put em in maybe I could be convinced to move Usyk and Jones around
Under 1950s ruleset: 1. Marciano 2. Dempsey 3. Louis 4. Holyfield 5. Walcott 6. Charles 7. Tunney 8. Patterson 9. Johnson 10. Moore 11. Byrd 12. Jones 13. Spinks 14. Sullivan (would be #2 or #3 under Bareknuckle) 15. Langford
I don't think Usyk would be making 200lbs same day weigh ins, and if he did he wouldn't be fighting very well
I don't think so, I've always believed that same days weigh ins ended in the early to mid 80s, but either way I imagine Holy in 85/86 could cut from his walk around weight (which can't have been more than 210) to 200
I don't think the Holyfield that weighed in the 190's would far well against Louis,Dempsey and Marciano
I tend to think the same, but when you're talking about fighters with intangibles like these guys you'd actually have to see the fight to know for sure.
