Featherweights are hard to do because so many great feathers fought at 130 alot, though this was a fun list to put together.

    h2h/all around accomplishments/historical signifigance/intangibles

    1. Willie Pep
    2. Salvador Sanchez
    3. Sandy Saddler
    4. Henry Armstrong
    5. Alexis Arguello
    6. Manny Pacquiao
    7. Terry Mcgovern
    8. Marco Antonio Barrera
    9. Kid Chocolate
    10. Abe Atell
    11. Eric Morales
    12. Johnny Dundee
    14. Jim Driscoll
    14. Azumah Nelson
    15 . Vincente Saldivar

HM: Juan Manuel Marquez, Eusebrio Pedroza

Look it was virtually impossible for me to do this list without including some of these guys 130lb bouts too, just too impossible. So thats the way it is.

I would like to see everyone elses top 10

Saldivar should be higher. He was a better fighter than Pacquiao, Barrera, Morales, Marquez, etc. Both head to head and resume-wise in my opinion, definitely resume-wise.

What has PacMan achieved in comparison other than winning over past prime versions of actual great FW's? He also lost to Marquez in at least one of their fights for me. No way he rates above guys like Saldivar, Attell, etc.

I didnt realize a YOUNG Marco Antonio Barerra was past his prime in 2003 coming off hot wins over hamed and morales? How bout Pacman beating a near great feather like Marquez, and nearly finishing him off in the first fight in round 1?

Salvidar has a good resume, but he never beat anyone as good as barerra, neither did attell.

Barrera was NOT young when Pacquiao beat him. That was his best win though, because he was closest to his prime, but was clearly not at his best in their fight. Against Morales, he first lost to an already faded Morales by Decision, and then beat the increasingly faded and shot Morales in rematches. Otherwise, he holds his dubious draw and win over Marquez, which a good majority seem to have given to Marquez, myself included.

At the time they were fought, I think guys like Winestone, Legra, and possibly even Ramos were just as good, Winestone especially. He has other good names, but most were not at their absolute best.

Is there a particlular reason Saldivar is so underrated?

I underrate neither Barrera nor Morales, I believe Pacquiao is overrated because he beat lesser versions of these fighters, with MAB being his best win, though clearly not at his best in their matchup. And again, I believe Marquez beat him. I think H2H Marquez may have been the best of the lot, Morales right there with him.

Pacman Sports a 5-1-1 record against JMM, morales, and MAB. He sports a 4-1(3) record against two hall of fame great fighters Morales and MAB. He is the only fighter in morales and MABs long careers to ever knockout them out. Pacman is an all time puncher, one of the best we have ever seen at 126lb. His Handspeed and Punching skills are incredible for a 126lber. Plus he is a southpaw. What Pacman has already accomplished before the age of 30 is outstanding, and quite frankly h2h most feathers in history would sucomb to his Power.

    - As for the JMM matches, I thought the 2nd fight was a draw, but in the first fight no way JMM deserved a draw. Pacman got a 10-6 round in the 1st, so even though JMM outboxed pacman after that no way did he do enough to make up for the 10-6 round. I had Manny by 2 points in the 1st fight. 2nd fight I thought dead even.
