smitty, I noticed on Bob Fitzsimmons you put that he beat John L. Sullivan. That didn't happen, unless you know something that I don't.
1. Sugar Ray Robinson 2. Joe Louis 3. Muhammad Ali 4. Henry Armstrong 5. Willie Pep That's my top 5...
I love where you have whitaker! He did a lot in his professional career- but he was God in the amateurs!!
Very good list. Nothing in there that truly offends me.:good Your top 20 makes for a very interesting read. If you ever get a top 50 done, please post it.
I like Fitz in a top 5 too, I was happy to see you had him at 4... The more I read and learn about him the more impressed I am.:yep
You correct, my mistake an error reading too fast I guess. I meant to say he beat the man (Corbett) who indeed beat Sullivan.
Fitz dominance was impressive and his resume is exceptional in my book though some seem to find holes in it.
No arguments, though having 2 HW (even though their two of the most dominate and prominent figures in the sports history) over the likes of Langford, Greb, and Charles isn't viable IMO.
